Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha:

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guides you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free. Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45-50 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Lake Duluti Coffee Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Foothills of Kilimanjaro - Game viewing – Bushwalk:

Leisure breakfast, drive to West Kilimanjaro to Ndarakwai Ranch is a privately owned 10,200-acre reserve, home to a variety of game. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a walk in the late afternoon. Today’s walk takes you through the volcanic hills on the ranch and into the adjacent Maasai community, an area with views of the Ngorongoro Highlands. The game you are likely to see includes Elephant, Zebra, Giraffe, Eland, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Dik-dik, Warthog, Baboon, and Vervet Monkey. Dinner and overnight Ndarakwai Ranch Camp.

Day 03: Foothills of Kilimanjaro - a day in a life with a Maasai:

This morning, as dawn breaks over the east African plains, we are up and out for an early morning Up Bush walk the very best time to see Kilimanjaro. Followed by game-viewing drive. Elephants are easily spotted, while harder-to-find lions and cheetah slip quietly through the tall grasses of the savanna. In addition, we usually discover a wealth of birdlife. We return to camp for Lunch and then set out for a visit to the nearby Maasai village. The Maasai are best known for the elaborate and beautiful beadwork that adorns their bodies. They are a proud people, once much feared as warriors, who now tend cattle, often moving large herds across the African plains. Dinner and overnight Ndarakwai Ranch Camp.

Day 04: Arusha NP + Walking Safaris – Game drive:

Leisure breakfast enjoy the best fine view of Mt Kilimanjaro, today you drive towards passing through the Maasai Steppe to Arusha National Park passing through a dense forest, then along the various Momella lakes. Then we visit the Ngurdoto Crater. Like the famous Ngorongoro Crater, this is a collapsed volcanic cone and although this crater is smaller it also offers amazing views. A walking safari is an ideal way to spot wild animals up close and enjoy the scenery. This park is one of the few parks in Tanzania where you are accompanied by an armed ranger. During a walking safari, you’ll almost certainly see waterbuck, impala, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, colobus monkeys, baboons, and various exotic birds. We also make a stop by a waterfall where you can take a refreshing shower, Enjoy picnic lunch at the shore of Momella lakes. More game drives and later you leave the park and drive to the Luxury retreat of Lake Duluti Coffee Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 05: Tarangire National Park – Game drive - Sundowner + Cocktails:

Leisure breakfast, with a game drive, en-route drive via the hustle and bustle of Arusha towards Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic at this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until the end of the day you drive to Sanctuary Swala Camp for dinner and overnight.

However, it is a pure delight and sheer pleasure of luxury tents that will remain with you for years to come and will keep you returning, if only in spirit, to this delightfully dreamlike lodge. Sunset Hill is the perfect locations to sit atop and enjoy the deep orange sunsets that often welcome in the starry skies. With food and drinks served by one of the staff, this is truly a magical experience not to be missed.

Day 06: Tarangire National Park – Night Game drive:

Sunrise guide walk in Tarangire start your day refreshed as you watch the bush come to life from the Private deck of your tent. There is no better way to up close and personal to the wild than to take a walking safari. Feels the ancient earth beneath every step you take as you tread on the tracks of animals that have walked the same path minutes before. This afternoon you have time to take a Refreshing or relax on your private deck with a cool drink and gaze out to the waterhole watching as the game lazily Congregates in the shade to escape the midday sun. As the afternoon progresses you may like to return to Tarangire for an Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Swala Camp.

Head out for Night game drive around the Savannah grassland that will take you to encounter nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, porcupines, civet cats, white-tailed mongoose, aardvarks and cape hares. Night game drive is one of the most popular and exciting activities on safari.

Day 07: Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive – Sundowner:

Breakfast with a best fine view and you leave the camp and with an en-route game drive to Tarangire gate for exit and drive the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park for Full Day game viewing to this unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views. Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife and the acacia woodlands offer the best overall wildlife viewing in the park. Enjoy your picnic lunches under the Acacia trees. This habitat is favored by the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, leopards, and giraffes and can claim the greatest elephant concentration in East Africa. Algae thrive in the high saline content of the lake. Huge and colorful flocks of birds gather in the water to feed, including many different varieties of birds that coexist together. In fact, well over 300 different species of birds have been recorded here, continue with afternoon game drive and later drive to the Lush retreat of Plantation Lodge & Spa for cocktails drinks dinner and overnight-Coffee House Suite.

Day 08: Ngorongoro Crater Africa’s “Garden of Eden”:

Early breakfast and drive the short distance to Ngorongoro Loduare gate and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the Wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest Animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, Hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Drive back to the Lush retreat of Plantation Lodge & Spa for cocktails drinks dinner and overnight-Coffee House Suite.

Day 09: Olduvai George – Central Serengeti to see Big Cats & Large Mammals:

Breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. A brief visit en route to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as ‘The Cradle of Mankind’ and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Picnic lunch in the park. Proceed to Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Dinner and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

Day 10: Central Serengeti to see Mammals & Big cats:

Begin your sunrise safaris and return for late breakfast at 09h00. Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. The Serengeti is located along the rift valley and is abound with geological formations. These exposed rock forms “kopjes” are round as a result of spherical wind weathering. These rich grass plains a result of ash deposited by volcanic eruptions and is home to 3 million animals. Within these grass plains, the scattered kopjes act as a heaven for animals from grass fires, predators and the heat. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopards, and Lions. Return for dinner and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

Day 11: SERONERA Airstrip – Fly to Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport – departure:

Early start today for an early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light or breakfast at the lodge, and the morning goes on your final game drive in Lobo Valley Plains. Keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, transfer to Seronera Airstrip in time for Flight to Arusha Airport. The flight departs SERONERA Airstrip at 10h00, arrive Arusha Airport at 12h15. On your arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be Meet and greet with your Host Walter and his team and we drive the short distance to Arusha town for fare well-deserved Lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge here you will have a variety of English – African taste meals with soft drinks & juices – beers.

Later drive to Kilimanjaro Airport or departure or if you have any plan to extend your trip to Zanzibar – Kilimanjaro Climbing or Southern Tanzania please let us know so that we can make the combination of the package if possible.
